SWANK is a collaboration of my experience in the salon and spa industry. 


I strive for a professional, clean and cutting edge experience for all clients. Staying up on the latest techniques and trends is paramount. In my 19 year journey in the beauty industry my career has evolved into the perfected specialty of hair extensions. I welcome the opportunity to earn your trust by delivering knowledgeable friendly service in a SWANK environment.


Attending all the top hair shows in the US and even Dubai. As the beauty industry evolves new products, styles and services emerge. I am right there to learn and bring the up to date styles and techniques to you.


Certifications, new techniques and experience give me the ability to recognize the product line or style of hair extension that best fits with your lifestyle and hair type.

ABOUT MICHELLE

Hair is an important component of our fashion and personal style. The science in the beauty industry is evolving at a record rate and to be on the cutting edge it takes continuing education. I attend at least 2 large industry shows each year. New York, Orlando, or Las Vegas. In 2021 I traveled to Dubai to the World Middle East Beauty Show building my skills as well as sourcing the best products to offer here at SWANK. visiting the tallest building in the world and riding a camel in the Dubai desert was defiantly a perk situation.


I am involved locally with two fashion and art groups. Where the communities of art and fashion come together. Stylists, photographers, make up artists and fashion designers collaborate on the latest trends and produce amazing fashion shows held in large art museums of Seattle  and Tacoma .


Additionally, I am a  former Washington State title holder as MS. Washington in 1997, I can help you with all your pageant hair needs.

When one feels good about themselves they exude confidence, these feelings can affect our personal and professional lives as well. I have been thanked by people for changing their lives with the work I do. When I chose to specialize in extensions, keratin smoothing treatments and long hair cutting, I never imagined the joy I would share in transforming clients from feeling overwhelmed or trapped with their hair situation, to tears of joy and dancing around the salon. Here at my Swank - A Modern Salon, I provide high quality service and products.
